    1. Information We Collect

    We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email) and when using the Service (project setup details, screening answers, interview transcripts, typed responses, optional voice transcripts, and participant metadata). We also collect standard usage data such as page views and feature interactions.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    Your information is used to operate the Service, improve the platform, communicate with you about your account, and provide customer support. Interview data is used exclusively for the research purposes you define.

    3. Data Storage & Security

    Interview transcripts, responses, screening answers, and account data are encrypted at rest and in transit. Core workspace data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), while researcher-uploaded question media is stored in Supabase Storage. Optional participant voice audio is sent for transcription and the resulting transcript is saved with the interview response; the browser audio clip is not presented to researchers as a stored recording. We retain data per your organization's retention policy (default: 365 days).

    4. AI & Machine Learning

    We use AI service providers to power moderated follow-up questions, text-to-speech, optional speech-to-text transcription, and insight generation. We do not train provider models on your data. Interview content is processed for the purpose of generating transcripts, follow-ups, summaries, themes, and analysis, and is not used to improve third-party models.

    5. Data Sharing

    We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who enable the Service (cloud hosting, AI APIs, analytics) and only under data processing agreements that prohibit secondary use.

    6. Your Rights

    You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can export interview data from Analytics and individual interview pages, and request account or workspace deletion from the Account page. Contact us at [email protected] for data requests.

    7. Cookies

    We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand usage patterns. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
